This Regulation entered into force on 1 October 2012.
Abstract

This Regulation aims to protect and improve the environment, prevent and control pollution and other public hazards, enhance the construction of ecological civilization and promote sustainable economic and social development of Hainan province. The Regulation consists of 6 Chapters divided into 69 articles: General Provisions (I); Environment supervision and administration (II); Environment protection and improvement (III); Prevention and control of pollution and other public hazards (IV); Legal liability (V); Supplementary provisions (VI).
