A committee will be established to follow-up and ensure the application of the instructions for the distinctive products (Art.3). According to article 4, there will be a routine examination and tests to verify the commitment of the licensed product by the technical committee. The Regulation provides for the requirements of housings used for raising chicken to ensure the high quality of products. Article 8 prohibits the use of hormones, antioxidants and industrial food dyes. It is allowed to use amino industrial acids only if it is free of any of the banned substances (Art. 10). This Regulation prohibits the slaughter and the processing of chicken outside their allocated and authorized slaughterhouses.
