The purpose of this Regulation is to ensure the monitoring of zoonoses, zoonotic agents and related drug resistance, which will allow the collection of information necessary to assess relevant trends and sources of drug resistance. Monitoring of drug resistance shall contain, among others, information on the antimicrobials involved in the monitoring.
