Abstract The present Regulation lays down sales promotion measures for apples consisting in the controlled storage of class I apples, intended to help producers achieve the current target price set in the agricultural agreement (jordbruksavtalen). The Council of Fruits and Vegetables Producers determines each year, by September 5th, which apple varieties are eligible for factory grants. Only fruit warehouses and producers approved by the State Agricultural Administration are allowed to participate in such storage.
