Abstract The purpose of this Regulation is to govern access for youth to participate in fisheries in adherence to Chapter 2, I-XIV of Regulation No. 1419 (LEX-FAOC130944). The fishing authorization applies to youngsters between 12-25 years of age and with the restriction of fishing activities only to take place between 23 June and 15 August 2014. Lumpfish fishing activities are permitted between 27 May and 20 June 2014 west of 26 degrees east, and in the period from 27 May and 5 July 2014 in Finnmark 26 degrees east. Fishing methods are restricted to rods, nets and traps giving an authorized total allowable catch of 60 kg. of lumpfish, however no more than the equivalent value of NOK 50 000.
