Abstract

It is not prohibited to fish in the Irish EEZ in 2013, nevertheless Norwegian fishing vessels are authorized to fish up to 500 tons tusk, ling and blue ling in the Icelandic economic zone south of 64 ° N beyond 12 nautical miles from the baselines. By-catch is allowed for 10% of Greenlandic halibut and 10% marine redfish. Vessels that have been allowed to participate in fishing for marinel fish in the Icelandic economic zone in 2013 may be excluded from from fishery in 2014 and subsequent years.
