Abstract

The purpose of this Regulation is to make sure that eggs are available during the outbreak of COVID-19 (the coronavirus). It temporarily amends the rule that eggs must be delivered to the consumer within a maximum time limit of 21 to 28 days of laying. The Regulation is valid until 1 June 2020.
