Abstract The present Regulation, adopted by the Norwegian Fisheries Directorate, authorizes Norwegian vessels to participate in fishing and landing up to 60,000 tonnes of sprat from 15 April - 23 June 2023, within the areas in Norway's economic zone, delimited in Article 2. It contains rules on utilization and calculation of individual vessel quotas and transshipment. The Norwegian Fisheries Directorate can halt fishing for sprat when the total quota has been used.
