Abstract The purpose of this Regulation is to ensure preservation of the intact and continuous mature forest with endangered, rare and vulnerable species, which areas is of particular value for biodiversity in the form of habitats, ecosystems, plant and animal species and natural ecological processes. The natural reserve area of approx. 3 139 consists of larger areas with high Bonita old spruce, touches of richer forest types of tall-herb spruce. The objective is to maintain conservation values in the most untouched state, and possibly developing them.
