Abstract It is prohibited for Norwegian fishing vessels to engage in fishing activity in EU waters in ICES statistical area IIa, IV, Vb, VI, VII and VIII in 2013. Nevertheless, Norwegian vessels are eligible to participate in fishing for haddock, ling, blue ling, whiting, and tusk in specified quantity and within specified areas in EU waters in 2013 (listed under table in article 2). The Directorate of Fisheries may stop fishing when the established catch limits are reached.
