Abstract The Regulation applies to the 2014 hunting of seal in the West Ice and East Ice territory which is not permitted to Norwegian vessels. Capture of a maximum of 21 270 and of non-lactating animals. Norwegian vessels authorized to the catch may only capture 7 000 in the East Ice territory. Hunting activities shall be notified in adherence to article 2 of Regulation No. 1743. Non-compliance with these regulations shall be subject to penalties according to articles 60-62, 64-65 of Act no. 37.
