Abstract This Regulation lays down rules to establish a just, accountable, transparent and expeditious punitive mechanism in order to take timely and appropriate action against fisheries related offences, and thereby reducing the occurrence of fisheries related offences and protecting the rights of parties undertaking fisheries related activities. This Regulation sets forth provisions for taking administrative actions and for the appointment and removal of and eligibility criteria for the members of the Committee to Review/Revise Notices of Administrative Action Taken Against Parties in Breach of the Fisheries Act.
