Abstract The purpose of this Regulation is to lay down a schedule for delivery of the slaughter of cattle, caprine and swine livestock by granting financial subsidy to help with transport costs made in an environmentally-friendly manner. These subsidies may only be granted to slaughterhouses approved by the Norwegian Food Safety Authority. Articles 5-6 list grant rates for small and large slaughterhouses.
