Abstract

The purpose of this Regulation is to allow education allowances through the allocation of school and apprentice allowances in order to strengthen the fisheries professional education, and to facilitate the recruitment in the fishery industry. The municipality may apply this quota of specific fish species to high schools teaching fishing and hunting. In special cases, quotas are also granted to other officially recognized educational institutions that have similar educational programmes. Criteria for receiving such grants requires one or more students on board of fishing vessels participating in fishery activities. The Fishery Directorate shall regulate these rules and decide on the amount of subsidy granted.
