Abstract

The Regulation has the goal to ensure preservation of a diverse forest area having particular significance for biodiversity in the region. Parts of the area represent temperate rainforest with important deposits of rare species of low deciduous forest and old, rigid ash wood. The area is of special scientific interest and should be utilized for teaching and research.
