Abstract

The purpose of this Regulation is to preserve an area of particular importance for biodiversity in the form of old species-rich coniferous forests, rich marshes and generally great variation in forest types, from damp to dry pine forests, with touches of rare and vulnerable habitats such as lime pine forests and limestone dry slopes, deciduous forest with elm and heat-loving plants and elements of yew. The area of approx. 16 542 acres has a special scientific value in rich flora with species related to both the coast and mountains. The objective is to maintain conservation values in the most untouched state, and possibly developing them.
