Abstract

The purpose of the nature reserve is to preserve a forest area of particular importance for biodiversity because of the occurrence of old pine dominated coniferous forest with elements of old and rough pine. The area of approximatelly 2 863 acres has a special scientific value as an example of ancient pine forests. The objective is to maintain conservation values in the most untouched state, and possibly developing them.
