Abstract

The purpose of the nature reserve is to preserve an area with many forest types, including old pine forest and lime and that has particular importance for biodiversity - whereby it includes rare and vulnerable vascular plants, mosses, lichens and fungi. Its objective is to maintain conservation values in the most untouched conditions, and possibly develop them. The natural reserve runs through location / BNR .: 19/3, 19/6, 19/7, 19/149, 19/801 in Stor-Elvdal municipality. It covers a total area of approx. 2 350 acres. The purpose of this document includes the preservation of the Sami natural foundation.
