Abstract The objective of the present Regulation, adopted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, is to combat highly pathogenic avian influenza and applies to businesses and individuals within the described zones and their activities. The Regulation establishes a protection zone with a radius of 3 kilometers and a surveillance zone with a radius of 10 kilometers, as described in the Annex.
