Abstract The purpose of this Regulation is to protect Muusdalan natural reserve to ensure growth of diverse range of natural forests. The natural reserve runs through location / BNR .: 38/1, 38/2, 40/3, 40/6 in Snåsa municipality and covers a total area of approx. 2 441 acres. With its variety in terms of habitats, ecosystems, species and natural ecological processes, the area has particular importance for biodiversity, particularly in relation to older spruce, as part of a very large area. Its aim is to preserve and develop conservation values in the most untouched condition. The purpose of this document includes the preservation of the Sami natural foundation.
