Abstract The Regulation sets rules regarding food information to be notified to consumers. It is in fact mandatory to ensure name, origin and sort for fresh fruits, berries, vegetables and potatoes of packed and pre-packed food products are labelled in Norwegian language. Fresh fruit, berries, vegetables and potatoes must be labeled with information on origin. Apples, pears, plums, cherries and strawberries should be labeled with information about their sort.
