Abstract It is not permitted to Norwegian vessels to fish or land pout in 2014. However, they are authorized to participate in fishing and landing maximum 108 000 tons in 2014 and between 1 April and 31 October. Fishery may be limited to a maximum quota for these vessels, however it is not allowed to have a bycatch of pout fish or blue whiting unless the catch of pout can be offset against the vessel's (pout) quota.
