Abstract

It is not permitted to Norwegian vessels to fish and land shrimps in Greenland's economic zone in 2013. Nevertheless this prohibition does not apply to the fishing of up to 2 700 tons shrimps in the Greenland economic zones in ICES ares XIV and Va. To participate in these activities, vessels must have participated in shrimp fishery off Greenland at least for five years and must be authorized by the Directorate of Fisheries of Norway.
