Abstract This Regulation makes amendments to the existing Regulation No. 448 with regard to the distribution of regional and central responsibilities when power outages occur. System operators shall notify the Resources and Energy Directorate prior to informing participants in the electricity market of defined electric spot areas in a reasonable time prior to their use. Energy suppliers shall ensure that a report is written. If the administrators believe the reported maximum transmission limits are set too low, it shall be notified to NVE (Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate) for approval.
