Abstract

The present Regulation applies to timber and timber products originating from outside Norway that a company places for the first time on the EEA market, in Norway. It makes Regulation (EU) No. 995/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down the obligations of operators who place timber and timber products on the market applicable in Norway. The Norwegian Environment Agency shall be the responsible authority under this Regulation.
