Abstract The purpose of this Regulation is to ensure adequate supplies of seed in the spring season, by granting subsidy for the storage of seed grain. Seed grain eligible for subsidy shall be inspected and certified by the national Agricultural Authorities. Application for such grants shall be submitted no later than 1 October. Certified seed grains exceeding 5% of trader’s average turnover of corn for the last three crop seasons are eligible for subsidy. Grants shall not be disbursed for stock in excess of 25%. The grant is calculated on the basis of provisions on rates specified in or pursuant to the Agricultural Agreement.
