Abstract The present Regulation of the Minister of Environment, Natural Resources and Forestry, which is composed of five Paragraphs, establishes that forests can be considered as protected if they: protect soil; protect water resources; are damaged by industrial plants; are valuable for the nature; are placed on research territories; protect natural environment; have special importance for the safety of the country.
