Abstract This Regulation consisting of 58 articles, divided in VI Sections, and I Annex aims at giving rules to protect animal and human health. It establishes that: all the projects related to livestock (giving details of the duties of the owner of the project) and trading biologics need a permit issued by the Ministry of Agriculture; companies and factories producing veterinary preparations have to be registered at the Ministry. It deals also with preventive measures set up to avoid the occurrence and spread of diseases; measures to be taken in case of suspect of epidemic diseases or occurrence of epidemic; measures for preserving animal breeds; rules and conditions for compensations to owners of ill animals killed.
