Abstract This Regulation here provides for the Program for monitoring the safety of food of animal origin for the year 2023. Full text of the Program is attached to this Regulation. The monitoring includes food of animal origin that is produced on the territory of the Republic of Serbia and it shall be carried out in facilities for: 1) production of food of animal origin; 2) storage and distribution; 3) retail sale of products of animal origin. Monitoring shall further include food of animal origin imported into the territory of the Republic of Serbia, namely: 1) mechanically separated meat (MSM); 2) milk powder and whey powder; 3) egg products - in liquid form; 4) fish; 5) processed fishery products; 6) gelatin and collagen.
