Abstract

This Regulation of the Minister of Environment, which is composed of four paragraph, lays down the formula for calculating value of noise index. Protection from noise consists in assuring as good as possible acoustic state of the environment, in particular by keeping the level of noise below acceptable or at least on this level. When calculating the value of noise index one should take into consideration changeability of noise sources over a year and changeability of atmospheric conditions and factors affecting spreading of noise in the environment.
