The Environmental Protection Agency shall be the competent authority for the Council Regulation and shall handle applications made under Article 5.2 of that Regulations. The obligations of Article 7 (2) of Regulation (EU) No 511/2014 and of Article 5(1) to (3) of Regulation (EU) 2015/1866 also apply to those using such traditional knowledge referred to in Chapter 8, section 5, second paragraph, the Environmental Code.
