Abstract This Regulation contains provisions on the enforcement of the Act (1999: 381) on measures to prevent and limit the consequences of serious chemical accidents. The Act (1999: 381) on measures to prevent and limit the consequences of serious chemical accidents and the provisions of this Regulation apply to activities where hazardous substances occur in or exceed the amounts specified for the lower level of requirements in Annex 1 to this Regulation. the regulation makes provision for, among other things, notifications, management programme under section 8 of the Act, safety reports under section 10 of the Act, the plan for internal mitigation operations under section 12 of the Act and consultation concerning mitigation under section 13 of the Act.
