Abstract The Swedish Board of Agriculture shall ensure that FLEGT licensing for import of timber are in compliance with EU regulations. Customs services shall provide an annual reporting under the supervision of the Board of Agriculture, which in turn shall ensure to notify the EU. Non-compliance shall be punished in accordance to Act No. 1225 of 30 November 2000 on Penalties for smuggling.
