Abstract

This Regional Legislative Decree intends to create a coherent ecological network of protected areas (Rede Natura 2000) and protect the present biodiversity, through the conservation and establishment of natural habitats in Azores. The Decree takes into consideration economic, social and cultural specificities of local and regional character.
