Abstract

This Regional Legislative Decree adapts into the Autonomous Region of Azores Decree-Law No. 140/99 on protected wildlife (Directives: 'Aves' and Habitats). It consists of 7 articles specifying protected areas, protected animal species, etc. in order to preserve the regional biodiversity, through the protection of wildlife natural habitats.
