Abstract

This Regional Law regulates the issues of state support of gardening and horticulture conducted by natural persons for individual personal needs. Regional state bodies, with a view of granting state support to subsidiary gardening and horticulture by natural persons. Shall have the following powers: (a) to create units within its structure to ensure implementation of the regional policy to support horticulture and gardening; (b) to implement state programs to support horticulture and gardening, including investment programs; (c) to conduct public awareness campaign with a view of promoting horticulture and gardening; (d) to organize within the area of horticulture and gardening supply of thermal and electrical energy, water, gas, sewage, fuel supply within the limits of authority as defined by the legislation of the Russian Federation; (d) to finance the implementation of complex cadastre works in relation to the cadastral quarters within the boundaries of horticulture and gardening areas; (e) at the request of the horticulture and gardening associations or holders of shares in common ownership located within the boundaries of horticulture and gardening areas, to purchase without compensation for the regional property (ownership) common property (highways, power grid facilities, water supply, communications and other facilities) in the event that such property in accordance with federal legislation may be in state ownership.
