This Regional Law enters into force on 1 January 2019.
Abstract

This Regional Law establishes the procedure and rates of procurement of timber by natural persons for individual personal needs by regional residents for housing construction, re-construction, repairs and heating of residential facilities. Timber extraction shall be carried out in accordance with purchase and sale contract of forest species. Volume of timber to be harvested in accordance with purchase and sale contract shall be determined within the established norms based upon required volume of timber with the consideration of the amount of timber extraction, including species composition and assortment set for logging site. Timber purchase and sale contracts shall be subject to mandatory registration by Forest Management Service. Non-specified and non-purposeful use of extracted timber by citizens shall be prohibited.
