The Regional Law enters into force from the date of its official publication.
Abstract

The document consists of 3 Sections that contain 11 articles. Section 1 (arts. 1-6) lays down general provisions. Article 1 deals with legal regulation of forest relations at the regional level. Article 2 determines plenary powers of the Regional Legislative Assembly in the sphere of use, protection, conservation and reproduction of forests. Article 3 determines plenary powers of the Regional administration in the sphere of use, protection, conservation and reproduction of forests. Article 4 regards allotment of wood-cutting areas through forest tenders. Article 5 deals with distribution of revenues from forest charges. Article 6 regards financing of forest reproduction. Section 2 (arts. 7-10) regards urban forests and urban plantations of trees and shrubbery. Article 7 concerns the purpose of urban forests. Article 8 concerns restrictions of economic activity in urban forests. Article 9 regards compensation of losses in the process of expropriation of urban forests. Article 10 regards urban plantations of trees and shrubbery. Section 3 lays down final provisions. Article 11 lays down final provisions.
