Abstract Protected natural area of regional significance - natural monument “Karst Lake “Bezdonnoye” shall have as its purpose conservation of valuable natural objects and complexes. On the territory of protected natural area of regional significance - natural monument “Karst Lake “Bezdonnoye” shall be authorized, by agreement with the regional Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Land Use Planning, the following activities: (a) fire-prevention, sanitary and other preventive measures required to ensure fire prevention and fire safety and maintenance of sanitary properties of the territory of the natural monument; (b) use of biological measures to combat forest pests; (c) procurement of edible forest resources by citizens and collection of medicinal plants for individual personal needs in the manner prescribed by the current legislation; (d) arrangement of nesting places for birds; (e) scientific research, including environmental monitoring; and (f) organization of environmental educational events (conducting educational excursions, organization and arrangement of ecological study trails).
