Abstract

State nature reserve “Dendrological park” shall perform the following tasks: (a) preservation of natural and artificial natural complexes and objects; (b) preservation, creation of collections of introduced species of flora; (c) creating conditions for carrying out scientific activities; (d) ensuring environmental education of the population; (e) popularization of protected natural area of the regional significance, creating a positive image of the Novosibirsk region, city of Novosibirsk; (f) preservation of rare plant species, including those listed in Red Book of the Russian Federation and the Red Book of the Novosibirsk region, creating conditions for increasing their populations; (g) organization of exhibitions, collection and experimental sites, nurseries, herbaria, thematic gardens, landscape compositions; and (h) creating conditions for conducting scientific and educational excursions and scientific and educational activities. On the whole territory of state nature reserve “Dendrological park” shall be prohibited the following activities: (a) allotment of land for activities non complying with protection regime, including construction, collective gardening and horticulture; (b) disturbance of soil layer; (c) exploration of subsoil and mining; (d) blasting operations; (e) making fires, burning meadow vegetation, using open fire; (f) application of pesticides and fertilizers; (g) procurement of soft resin and medicinal plants; (h) grazing and transit of cattle; (i) procurement of wild fauna species; (j) zoological and botanical collections (except for authorized scientific research activities); (k) collection of mushrooms and berries; (l) walking dogs and other domestic animals; (m) destruction or removal from natural habitats of rare and endangered wild flora species and mushrooms; (n) rest of visitors with the arrangement of bivouacs, encampments, staying points and camps; and (o) destruction or damaging of barriers, boards and other information displays and indication signs.
