Abstract

This Act provides for the promotion and diffusion of productions environmentally compatible and promotes the production, transformation and marketing of biological products. Under Article 3 is established the Regional Commission for Biological Agriculture (A.R.S.I.A.L.) that shall prepare the plan for the conversion of traditional agriculture into biological agriculture, recognize associations of biological producers and implement Community rules for the production, labelling and control of agricultural products and foodstuffs produced organically. In terms of Article 9, the Regional Register of Biological Producers is to be established and this type of producers will receive regional finacial contributions for research, professional training plans and for the promotion of biological products.
