Abstract

This Act promotes and enhances water resources: for this purpose water resources shall be used in a rational manner and priority shall be given to drinking water and the balance of river basins shall be preserved. The Marche Region will have a planning, programming and control function and will determine, in application of Act of 5 January 1994 on water resources, the ATO (Optimal Territorial Areas); promote the cooperation between the local entities and organize an integrated water service.
