Abstract

These Regulations prohibit fishing for, transhipment of or having on board of redfish by Irish sea-fishing boats within ICES areas V, XII and XIV as described in Communication (85/C347/05) from the Commission of the European Communities on the description of the ICES sub-areas and divisions used for the purposes of fishing statistics and regulations in the North East Atlantic. The Regulations also make provision with respect to prima facie evidence in prosecution of offences committed under these Regulations.
