Abstract

This Order amends the Rabies (Importation, Landing and Movement of Animals) Order, 1976 by removing the requirement for an import licence from Great Britain, in respect of imports of animals to which this Order applies. Thus, article 5 of the principal Order shall not apply in respect of the importation or landing of an animal which is shown to the satisfaction of the Revenue Commissioners to have been brought directly to Ireland from Northern Ireland or Great Britain.
