This Order introduces measures to prevent the spreading of and to control rabies in Jersey and extends the definition in the Diseases of Animals (Jersey) Law 1956 of “animal” so as to include an animal belonging to any of the orders of mammals specified in Schedule 1 to this Order and the definition of “disease” so as to include rabies.
