Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Directive 2000/60/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing a framework for Community action in the field of water policy of 22 December 2000. The purpose of the Ordinance is to establish a framework for the protection of inland surface waters. The text consists of 21 articles divided into 4 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Quality targets for running waters (2); Quality targets for lakes (3); Final provisions (4).
