Abstract

The aim of these Regulations is to implement the provisions laid down under European Union Council Directive 89/361/EEC concerning pure-bred breeding sheep and goats. These provisions cover zootechnical problems which may arise in trade with Member States in pure-bred breeding sheep and goats and the semen, ova and embryos thereof. Specific provisions deal with keeping of the list of breeders’ organizations and associations.
