Regulation 3 prescribes the size storage and other requirements for tanks for water for human occupation, whether as a dwelling-house, school, place of employment or otherwise; as a manufactory of food or drink; or as a place for the service of food or drink. A tank provided for the storage of drinking water shall be constructed in accordance with specifications set out in regulation 3. A tank shall not, without the permission of the Minister, be used for the supply in common of two or more dwelling-houses. Other provisions concern cleaning of tanks and connection of catchments with tanks and prescribe offences.
