Abstract

These Regulations provide for the control of flies for reasons of public health. Regulation 1 defines a general duty of occupier of premises to control flies. The proprietor or manager of every store wherein meat, fish, game, poultry, or other food for human consumption liable to contamination by flies shall comply with storage instructions set out in regulation 3. Regulation 4 concerns transportation of food. Regulations 4 to 7 provide rules for the keeping of animals so as to prevent the breeding of flies.
