The 23 Sections are divided into 5 Parts completed by one Schedule, i.e. Preliminary (I); Provincial Forest Reserves (II); General Protection of Forests and Forest Produce Outside Reserves (III); Penalties and Procedure (IV); Supplemental (V). When an area is declared to be a Provincial Forest Reserve, the Governor or in his place a provincial administration has the duty to administer that area as such (sect. 3). The Governor may make further rules under provisions of Part III. No person shall cut a tree without a licence (sect. 8).
